Bio / Background
Keith and Renee are the real deal. Together since 1998, (the first year as a 4-piece band called Easily Amused), K&R decided to keep pursuing their musical dream as a duo under the same name Easily Amused after the band folded. Since then, K&R have been touring ferociously across North America performing about 200 shows a year. K&R have 2 albums out: Novice (2001) and Simple Stuff (2004) (produced by the acclaimed Creighton Doane) and are currently recording their 3rd album, which is set to drop early 2007.
Recently, K&R (EA) were invited to sing on Song For Africa; a Canadian project featuring some of Canada’s hottest artists, to help raise awareness of the Aids Pandemic happening in Africa and around the world. The video made for the song was featured at this year’s Aids Conference in Toronto alongside Bill and Melinda Gates, Richard Gere and Alicia Keys. All monies raised from the project went towards building a clinic in Africa. For more info, www.songforafrica.
