Doug Harper is a songwriter, performer and recording artist in the folk tradition, spanning a range of styles. "Hybrid Folk" is the term coined as a quick style description.

"Travelogue" is a collection of 12 orignals. Variety is the operative word. It spans the range of contemporary folk with a dash of rock, a pinch of ragtime/swing and just enough country. "The Way to Treat a Lady" is a jazz tune that features his very talented wife, Shelley. The velvety harmonies heard on the other tunes are hers, as well. Enjoy!
