Jews + Oakland= Hip Hop Shabbat
We're just some soulful Jews from the Oaktown, who were tired of traditional prayer services, which were boring to say the least.
So, we combined traditional liturgy with original hip hop styles and the result is this amazing CD.
This Cd is the perfect bar/bat mitzvah gift.
There's a lot of so'called Jewish hip-hop out there that's not even hiphop. This is the real thing.

great for young jews looking for inspirational rap lyrics

it's a decent CD, but i wouldn't call it "inspirational"!. a couple of the tunes are catchy, a couple are boring (sorry, guys!). it's kind of neat that they have short traditional prayers preceding the tunes, although some people may not like that. i actually think that this is a good CD for pre-teens. it's clean, and kind of cool, so younger kids really dig it. my 2 yr old asks me to put it on as we drive to her jewish day school. i am glad i bought it.
