↓ more ↓After that were stints in everything from a British Invasion rock band, to a reggae rock band (http://www.reactorsmlc.org/)to an American rock n' soul band, before deciding to go on his own. He's emerged with songs that have depth and Americana-style melodies.
The band:
Matt Douglass - Guitar(Lead/Slide), Mandolin, Vocals
Jim Seechuk - Guitar(Lead), Harmonica, Vocals
Neil Friesner - Bass, Vocals
Steve Raskin - Drums
Glenn Workman - Organ, Piano
Seechuk and Friesner toured with Douglass in the early 80's.
Jim branched out to become one of the region's best guitar players, leading his own band (The Revtones)and picking up session work along the way. After a stint in seminal country band Dakota, Neil set up a pre-production studio out of Elmo's Farm in Millers MD, where the pre-production for No Stone Unturned took place. Steve Raskin brought a world music approach to the recordings. From working in a roots-reggae band with Douglass, a gig with the Barnburners, recognition with The Polkats as Best Unsigned Band from Musician Magazine, and jam band Gypsy Dawg, Steve brought a unique style to the project.
Glenn Workman came in from Crack The Sky, a progressive rock band with a hefty resume, best known for its impressive musicianship and abstract songwriting. Glenn's expertise in sound development and programming with Kurzweil has led to working on tours for the Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder.
