Hook-laden guitars and bass with popping, powerful vocals and drums, conjure up thoughts of Incubus, Faith No More and Soul Coughing. It's the kind of stuff you find yourself humming three days after you've heard it.
Bio / Background
This CD was recorded in Miami amidst a week of South Beach fun and late nights in Birdnest Studios with the infamous Sean "Birdman" Gould. We had a pocketful of fresh songs we wanted to lay down and Birdman definitly caught the vibe of what Doorway 27 was in that year.
This was a great session and a fun time for the entire band and that aura comes through on this one. Poppier songs than the previous album and a tad more danceable with songs like Ten Speed and Taxi Cab on the line up.
