Bio / Background
Doorway 27 was formed by four South Florida Musicians looking to create their own brand of music. Blending elements of Rock, Reggae, Pop, & Indie sounds they have succeeded in creating a style as unique and diverse as their personalities.
There is a friendly intensity that comes across in Doorway 27's performances. They are bright, energetic and engaging - and so is the music. Hook-laden guitars and bass with popping, powerful vocals and drums, conjure up thoughts of Incubus, Faith No More and Soul Coughing. It's the kind of stuff you find yourself humming three days after you've heard it. Lead singer Bryan Wohlust dances like a madman, drawing the crowd toward the stage, making them want to join in. And they always do.
Doorway 27 was a featured act at the Buzz Bake Sale 2004 sharing the bill with such acts as Korn, New Found Glory, Lit, Sevendust, Muse and many more.
