From one artist to the next, success stories have little to no variation. Boy meets microphone, childhood dreams manifest, basement studios are built. Drive, motivation, and lint in their pockets are what their resources amount to. Not this version.
The persona that is essential to compete in the major leagues of the music industry comes naturally for an artist like Don Blas. Raised among solid family ties to both music and business, Don was prepared for a life of loyalty to entertainment at an early age. While Don’s grade school peers played sports and spent weekends at the arcade, Don was playing funky bass lines to the sounds of Sly Stone and perfecting his lyrical style. While his freshmen classmates spent time cheering athletes on at the homecoming game, Don was mixing and mastering what are now his underground classics.
The 23 year old Don Blas has become a household name in his hometown of Denver, Colorado.
