Bio / Background
Dustin Miguel Fox was born in Bogotá, Colombia and raised by adopted parents on a remote island in NW Washington. Dustin opened for recording artist Jewel on her "This Way" tour in 2002. He was a participant in the Nashville New Music Conference in 2002. Dustin was a featured poet along with Robert Bly at the Mother Earth Conference. He is a vocalist and drummer for the Reggae band "Chief Baker." Rocked the mic at the Burning Word poetry festival sponsored by the Washington State Poets Society in 2004 & 2005. Growing up amongst nature, Dustin feels close to the earth and all the issues that affect it. This sense can be felt and heard in his music. As a traveler of the world he has seen many sides to life and has a very deep love for all of humanity.
