Bio / Background
david started his music career in 1996 after doctors told him he'd be dead in 6 months from a tumor in his head. 12 albums later, he's still going strong and his latest continues to showcase the strength of his writing along with the astounding production of Producer and mentor Donny Holcombe. Patience, vision and some musical risktaking erupt and merge seamlessly into david's finest collection yet.
Notes on tracks:
1. Maybe - this is a song I wrote early in the not by chance days. We used to sing it a lot, but never got around to recording it. The song opens with the musing that Maybe this world was meant to break your heart
goes through a bunch of possibilities then finally concludes that Maybe in the end, all we have is one another and that Maybe that's God's answer to the hearts that break in two... woven around one of m y favorite images of raindrops hearing lovesongs sungby the soil. Ok, that reads corny, but it sounds right, I promise.
