Bio / Background
Formed in 2005 seeking meaning from the suburban malaise in which they were raised, come Sussex U.K. based trio Divestream.
Aaron Call (Vocals/Guitar), Allen Taylor (Bass/Backing Vocals) and Ben Wallington (Drums), three young men signed to independent label Judmusic Records.
In these cynical times of mockney chancers, tabloid junkies and Emo poster boys, Divestream offer a surprisingly fresh slant on the guitar/bass/drums formula.
Right from the start as the psychedelic intro of “Now you stand alone” erupts, through to the sonic attack of “Sayonara”, by way of the eerily haunting “Translucent”, their debut long player entitled “Adaptive Radiation” continues the theme of Darwinian theory, by being a record that is both a progressive take on, as well as the antidote to the current over saturated UK rock music scene.
↓ more ↓With a string of explosive live shows and a burgeoning Myspace following already under their belt, the band have built a dedicated audience within both London and the South East and will be promoting the album “Adaptive Radiation” extensively throughout 2007.
