Bio / Background
Dina Torok has performed in various bands in Los Angeles over the past five years and sung on numerous tracks for film and television. Finally she was ready to record her own music.
"This album has all the energy and excitement that any pop-rock album could hope to have, and Dina's vocals are beautiful and enticing in front of the band, a combination that will keep listeners moving to the music and asking for more", says Daniel Bautista, producer of The State I Get In.
"The songs I wrote came from the heart. They were based on personal moments in my life, and I wanted to share pieces of my story. While I had a lot of fun performing in the local clubs and coffee houses, I wanted the music to be taken to a new level on the album."
At the core is a folk, singer-songwriter feel. With Bautista at the helm as producer, and a team of wonderfully talented musicians, these songs have been transformed into energetic, full, pop-rock pieces.
