REVIEW:
The only complaint I could even imagine people having about this disc is that there's only 6 songs and it's not even half an hour long. And to that I would say 'So what?!' Would you rather have 6 songs that rock the disc from beginning to end or 12 songs that just suck? If the music's quality is more important to you than it's quantity, look no further than Diegrinder's 2nd release "Goin' Down".
With an energy & power that's unheard of in most local scenes, Diegrinder gives it their all on this mind-blowing CD. There's not a bad song on here; "How Long" starts the disc off, and it doesn't take long for you to realize that these guys are for real! "The Blood" and "Last Ride" are probably my two favorites, but like I said, all the songs on here rock! Track 6 (which isn't listed) is a cover of the Turbonegro's song "Rock Against Ass". This was an awesome suprise and a great way to bring the disc to a close...kinda like a grand finale at the 4th of July fireworks.
↓ more ↓After hearing this CD, you'd have to agree that Diegrinder somehow managed to pack more into these 6 songs than most bands can in a few albums. So let me ask you just one last time, what's more important to you: the mere quantity of songs or the quality of each one? Now that you know the answer you have no excuse for not grabbing a copy of "Goin' Down".
