Bio / Background
M. David Hornbuckle was the primary songwriter in PopCanon and the M-Word. With the Dixieland Space Orchestra, he's filtered his irony-tinged pop nuggets through a colander of dixieland, country and free jazz. What comes out on the other side is an eclectic mix of lush arrangements, toe-tapping melodies and insane noise.
Dixielandspacemusic features Hornbuckle on vocals, banjo-ukulele and guitar; Sam Kulik on trombone and vocals; Ron Caswell on tuba; Koven Smith on drums; Don Undeen on clarinets; Stefan Zeniuk on saxophones; Elizabeth Pulos on viola.
