Bio / Background
Artist/ Producer/Songwriter Démien began what would turn out to be an extraordinary musical journey in the second grade, when his mother enrolled him in the Pasadena Boys Choir in Pasadena, California. During his summer breaks, he attended the Harlem School of the Arts in New York which is where he began to learn the guitar, and also began writing and singing his own compositions. By the time he had finished high school, he was proficient in more than 10 musical instruments, and had started recording and producing his own songs. After high school, Démien went on to study music at Hampton University in VA, where he sharpened his skills as an instrumentalist and began to write and produce songs with a local production company. By the time he had graduated he knew that he wanted to try his hand at the music industry, and went to intern for a New York music production company which had landed some tracks for a then unknown group, Boyz II Men.
