Bio / Background
Rapping in French, English, and Spanish, DJ Decryption has created a new niche in the hip-hop scene. He laces a combination of orchestral, Irish, and choral beats with philosophical musings ("Wherever I go I love what they speak / Life is sweet because you find what you seek / So 'cherchez la joie' [look for the joy] in all life's poses / Me? I'm just glad that thorns have roses" -Trilingual MC), political commentary (" 'Begone!' says a Bush to a neighboring vine / When it happens to be growing by a river called the Rhine / In a fine little country where they like to drink wine / Agree with the 'shrub' or it's boycott time" -Trilingual MC), and straight up hot lines ("Yo it's Decrypt; you came to see me shine / Computer nerds love me more than a T3 line" and "I'm always innovative; never work from ritual / But you steal your rhymes from pygimes... that's *aboriginal*" -Sounds Like A Plan).
