Bio / Background
Eclectic, and at times reclusive, Deckard Croix has managed to escape any major recognition by the public. Known (by those who know him) for his unconventional inclinations and sometimes unpredictable behavior, he wears his influences on his sleeve but makes it all his own.
While his skills range from guitar and keyboard to bass and drums, he is also educated in music theory (counterpoint in particular), recording techniques, and various experimental instruments.
A list of the many bands he has contributed to would be tedious (even I don't know all of them). The most recent being the band formerly known as Thora's Birch (now going by the name of Ho Pie), laughingly described by Croix as a "disaster". He is now currently unaffiliated.
His experience as a studio musician has taken him from jazz to avant rock. There are several spoken word recordings he has been a part of.
