Michael Carvale / UPRIGHT/ELECTRIC BASS

Standup/electric bassist and vocalist, Michael Carvale, was born in Trenton, NJ. Moving to Minneapolis, MN to attend The McNally School of Music (formerly Music Tech), originally as a guitar player. There he was exposed to music from all over the world, learning the role a bass plays in music. At the age of 23, Michael purchased his first bass, playing with everybody and every band he could.Carvale quickly learned the life of a working musician. Over the course of the 12 years, his bass playing landed him gigs all over the United States and Canada.Michael has played with the who's who in the Twin Cities and has warmed up or performed with many known music legends on a national level. When not on stage, he does as much session work as he can find and teaches private lessons. He has received two life time achievement awards while working with The Lamont Cranston Band over the years.

Zack Lozier / TRUMPET

Zack Lozier was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He went to Milwaukee High School of the Arts where he studied jazz in their award winning jazz combo program. Zack then graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in English. He’s played with many groups including Big Tasty, Pharaoh’s Dance, the Bardo Transit Authority, Jack Brass Band, Southside Aces, the award winning New Primitives, Sam Kuusisto and Green. He also manages to find time to teach the trumpet in private lessons around the metro area. Zack resides in the city of Minneapolis in the beautiful Lake Nokomis area.

Brian "Zoot" Simonds- Saxophone

Baritone/Tenor/Curved Soprano/Alto Sax . Brian'Zoot'Simonds is a dynamic player- his melodic phrasing is to die for. Zoot has had 30+ years of experience from worldwide bars to national venues.His musical style is extremely fluent with a sense of harmony that never ceases to pleasantly surprise you..You can see him all over the Twin Cities with many bands, due to his absolute love for playing music. Do not let his peace sign fool you folks...This fun loving ,left wing hippie, will kick your ass!

John Lund / Drums

While still very young , John Lund , demonstrated a gift for rhythm and music. After growing up in the thriving Twin Cities music scene, John picked up and traveled the world learning life's lessons and musical chops.Lund's inspiration stems from such stylistic influences as jazz, blues, spirituals, rock, and the avant garde.John has never been satisfied with just being a masterful drummer. He has spent his career pushing music in new directions ,which can be seen in every project he involves himself in.
