Power pop driven with melodic tides of energy, spinning high in a combustable blender of dark undercurrents, beneath a froth of insightful lyrics shining in the sun.
Bio / Background
Dave Lemon’s debut album, Stumble In, is an encapsulated tide of melodic energy, with dark lyrical undercurrents, pulled from an abyss of memories. The songs are born of experience through living in an unsettled world. His band has an energizing rhythm with the intensity of a scorching sun.
The messages found in tracks from "Stumble In" contain both introspective observation and witness to societal ills. Dave Lemon explores the challenges of making a buck found in “Plasma Junkie”, “Job Hopper” and “Relax”. The song “Cell” transmits social isolation. There is also celebration of being a free spirit as a teenager in “Remember”. There is an excessive indulgence in “Stumbled In”. The album would not be complete without the surprise revelation found in “Freaky Freddie”.
“I got in the studio to record after meeting up with Pat Gray (Producer/Bassist) and Mike Hommel (Drummer).
↓ more ↓The collaboration gelled into a powerful recording experience that crystallized creative energy into a solidified work. We were in a peak flow of creativity and boundless energy that pushed on through barriers of time. When I thought of the sound of the album, I wanted it to sound like we were cranking it up in one's living room. The original vision transposed into a woven soundscape of power pop, full of energy and life."
Dave Lemon transmits experiences, observations and social conditions into a lyrical story. He explores the under belly of society. The debut album entitled Stumble In, further solidifies the songs that roam inside his head.
