Bio / Background
Dave Dill is a musician whose artistic brilliance shines through in each and every song. His musical style is refreshingly melodic and uniquely contemporary sounding while drawing on the influences of artists like The Beatles and Nick Drake. One of the highly notable aspects of his musicianship is that he writes all of his music and performs all of the instruments while also taking on the role of producer and recording engineer.
"Heaven", which is his third solo release, is a stunning and unforgettable album. To describe the album is to somewhat describe a "sound-picture" compilation of incredibly vibrant images and lasting emotion. Each song is a descriptive composition and "snapshot" of a moment in time in which all people share. Musically, the songs are captivating in mood and the mood is both uplifting and tranquil. Lyrically, the songs are poetically vivid and imaginatively stirring.
