What the Hell Is This?
It’s a collaboration between poet Lewis MacAdams and performance artist The Dark Bob. It’s words and music, sound stories, voice essays, poems, letters and songs - matters of life and death. With the exception of Peril, which was written by the artist, Lauren Bon, Lewis MacAdams wrote all the words. The Dark Bob composed, sampled, performed and produced all the music and sounds.
Lewis MacAdams’ most recent books are Birth of The Cool and The River: Books 1,2 & 3. He is currently writing a biography of Jann Wenner, founder of Rolling Stone, A frequent contributor to National Public Radio’s Day to Day, he is the founder of Friends of The Los Angeles River. Lewis has published 11 volumes of poetry and performed his work all over the U.S. and Europe.
