The show...
The concept of the show follows the line of a young woman's love relationship, common to many of the love relationships that we experience. It begins with that first meeting where she becomes enraptured, smitten by a handsome man just within reach. And as blushes turn to crushes,she finds herself head over heels in love. But is it really love; is there more that she needs to examine? The songs detail the angst and uncertainty that can come with love relationships. Has this lady come to a zenith with the way she deals with herself? Is she depending heavily on the comfortof another? Originally created with 11 songs, the show has been slightly lengthened to included a 12th song and also a vibrant poem that mirrors this woman's search. The songs range in style from jazz to blues to R&B and even musical theatre from some of America's brightest composers. Together, they meld into a melodious masala, rejoicing in all that we mustendure to embody love completely.
