On hearing the opening piece "taking Flight", you know right away that you are in for a journey that will take you to deep and wide spaces. (hear Taking Flight on Dan's website)

It is at once beautiful, dreamy, introspective and calming, but also celebratory, triumphant and energetic.

The pieces here move and flow and spin together to create a dynamic series of moods and spaces within.

Those spaces are both warm and inviting, almost womb-like.

Using synths and programming mixed with organic instruments such as didgeridoo, droning vocal chants, flute, percussion, rocks, bowls and even ice water swirled in a large pot.

Get ready to fly away to other worlds once more by means of the music of Dan Pound and this new work, "Everflow".

Dan Pound was classically trained on piano, guitar and double bass at an early age and started writing songs soon after.
