singer/songwriter, Cynda Bennett.
As the auto-biographical song,
"Ft. Worth Bound" reveals,
Cynda's Texas roots run deep.
Those influences are most notably heard
in the Texas swing flavors of that track
plus "Cowboy Up", and even in the bluesy,
sexy playfulness of "Go To Bed".
But Cynda also offers up some contemporary
country stylings in songs like "Chill Pill",
"Who Do You See?" and the tender ballad,
"Dark Side of Your Heart."
Traditionalists will even like the sorrowful
waltz of "Widow's Prayer" and the homage
to Gentleman Jim Reeves in her cover of
"She'll Have To Go."
