Craig Owen Jenkins has been touring and recording with many artists and has now set out on his own solo venture. He has released a cd with 10 original compositions. Rock influenced with a country vibe that spreads across multiple layers of solidified rhythm and beautifully toned guitar and stringed instruments,accompanied by Craig Owen Jenkins great voice. Relating closely to Tom Petty or Mark Cohen, Craig breaks through with a classic feel, though not pertaining too closely to past artists. He brings forth his own lyrical message covering political issues as well as societal problems that most everyone can relate to.
He is a nonconformist who is obviously doing what he was born to do.
Jenkins' hook laden tunes are a blend of roots & rock that reveal a unique style reminiscent of early Neil Young, who happens to be among his biggest influences. Craig's confident, resolute strides along his own musical path could appear as indifference to popular opinion.
