Bio / Background
Somehow, somewhere, between Philadelphia and San Francisco on her first national tour, Courtney Fairchild managed find a few short days to stop at home base and whip up a killer set list, pull her best friend along to take Polaroids of the whole thing, and record 'Right Here' her third album and first live record.
'Right Here' is eleven never before recorded songs, two previously recorded songs, and a total of thirteen stellar never before released gems of solo vocal luminosity. As much killer concert performance as it is intimate "Hi, I'm Courtney singing in your living room," 'Right Here' is Courtney's latest bridge from behind the guitar into your heart and mind.
The first thing that comes across is the voice. The second thing is the virtuosic guitar playing. The third thing is the depth of the lyrics - the plaintive search for meaning and truth beyond the surface of things.
