Bio / Background
Debut album from New Hampshire's (yes, New Hampshire) Conservative Man. Recorded at Outpost North in Jaffrey over a span of three months in the winter of 2005.
A byproduct of the failings of the art education system, Conservative Man says this of his first effort:
"Up until that point, you know, I'd just been making these really terrible home demos- on some of the worst gear you could find. I'd finally left Philadelphia for good, and was in a much better place... as soon as I got my hands on some decent recording gear, I just jumped right into the project, I just wanted to make something with it. Am I happy with the results? Sure. I think they work for what they are, and they definitely speak to where I was at the time...now I'd like to see what else I can do with it..."
