Folks say they can hear a bit of that 90's UK thing (Stone Roses, Oasis) sprinkled on a healthy dose of American Grade A radio rock (Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, STP), stuff like that. Sounds about right to us.
Bio / Background
Colic began a couple of years ago. The band's sound contains elements of mid 90s Britpop (Oasis, Stone Roses) mixed with American alternative radio rock (Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Stone Temple Pilots).
Over the past year or so, the band has steadily played the upper Midwest, including the last two Warped Tour Detroit stops. The band recently put out their first self released EP, and the single "Promise Me Anything" has been picking up spins on stations like 89X, WRIF, KPNT, KTCL,WKGB,KSPI, XM Unsigned (featured on Radar Report 7/15) and many more.
Colic has recently been writing and recording with Chris and Drew Peters, who are co-authors of the current Black Eyed Peas hit single "Don't Lie" (as well as having worked with the likes of Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, Electric Six, etc.). Some of these songs are contained on the new EP, but writing is ongoing.
