Cindy Roberts redefines the blue side of country with this collection of love, hurt, hope and happiness songs -- in a style that is most definitely all her own. Her powerful voice touches the soul with the grace of a woman who has lived life to it's fullest, has been cut by the blade of loneliness and despair, but hasn't lost sight of the hopeful side of love. From the gospel-tinged cover of Janis Joplin's "A Woman Left Lonely," a heart-shattering example of Cindy's bluesy side, to the infectious, radio-ready, country-pop power ballad "I Won't," she leaves little doubt that her vocal abilities are a force to be reckoned with. Listen to the delicacy of the Willie Nelson classic "Angel Flyin' Too Close To The Ground" -- Cindy clearly understands the pain associated with the underlying tone of that wondrous melody. The record also features Cindy's songwriting with the tender ballad, "The Wind Blows On" -- an introspective addressing the circle of life in a post 9-11 world.
