Worship with a modern rock edge.
Bio / Background
It all started when I was born in good ole’ 1978. Alabama won the national championship because they were not terrible. Jimmy Carter was messing up the economy big time while disco was messing up all things music big time.
The highlights after my birth were as follows... at six I fell out of a cherry tree and broke both my arms, my dad moved us all to Texas to go to seminary, at 12 dad moved us to Montana to start a church, at 15 we came back to Alabama.
I am the oldest of 8 kids.
I graduated from Southeastern Bible College with a degree in Biblical Studies in 2002.
I got married in 2003 to a hot babe named Emily.
There are two more women now in my life, Lily and Ava, who eat all my food and break all my stuff.
I started leading worship when I was 16 and have been doing it ever since.
↓ more ↓God has blessed me with the opportunity to play with bands that have shared the stage with acts like Swithchfoot, Mercy Me, Big Daddy Weave, Skillet, Kutless, and odly enough Lynard Skynyrd who all have perfect rockstar hair. After doing the band thing for a while I knew that I was supposed use music in a different way and I started leading worship exclusively. I now lead worship for a weekly college bible study of over a thousand students and for a local church here in Birmingham. In addition to that I also get to travel around to other places and share in ministry with all different kinds of people and churches. I love what God has called me to do!
