Wet Dog Man by Paul Chesne

Nat 'King' Cole, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Guns N' Roses, John Lennon and countless other luminaries spent time recording some huge hits in the very studio where we recorded. During those 2 days, we laid down the basic tracks on the album. Chris D'Rozario worked the upright and p-bass and Mitchell Robe stroked the baby grand piano, Hammond b-3, Wurlitzer and Fender Rhodes keys. Some of the other featured artists include:

Dave Roe-- He sings all the back up vocals and plays bass on a couple as well. He was a member of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash's band from 1991 until they passed away. He also played with Yoakam the last couple years and records sessions in Nashville regularly. Rob Shrock-- Burt Bacharach's musical director -- arranged strings for 2 songs. Ozomatli's percussionist, Justin Poree, funks up a song. Skip Edwards, who's played with Keith Richards, Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, Steve Earle, Norah Jones, James Burton, etc -- plays pedal steel and accordion on a couple songs. Mr. Keith Gattis who is Yoakam's current guitarist, lends his talents on acoustic guitar on one song. Mark Needham (markneedham.com) mixed the album. He mixed the chart-topping album "Hot Fuss" by the Killers last year and every Chris Isaak record. He mixed every Cake album and worked with Fleetwood Mac and many others. The album cover is a painting by noted underground political guerilla artist, Robbie Conal (robbieconal.com). He has never done anything like this for a band, and his unique style lends itself perfectly to the unpretentious soulful eclectic sounds on our Wet Dog Man album.

Our live show is a good old fashioned rock n' roll, bluesy juke joint, punk rock, hip hop dance-off conflagration. We've rocked most every Hollywood club including Viper Room, Roxy, Whisky, Cat Club, King King, Kibitz Room, Malibu Inn, Knitting Factory, El Cid, Silverlake Lounge, etc. And many others around Southern California. We look forward to going on tour to promote our new record and keep up the momentum we have built here in LA. The band's lineup consists of 2 guitars bass, drums and pianos, with a lead and back up vocals. We've got a mailing list over 600 strong and growing. We look forward to entertaining you!
