Bio / Background
CHARMED is a musical duo featuring Bambi Jackson on keyboards, guitar, & vocals and Alicia Ultan on viola, guitar & vocals. Playing their own brand of what they like to call "twisted folk," Charmed has been performing together since 2001. Combining their classical training and uniquely personal songwriting styles, they have a created a sound that is reminiscent of the lyricism and sweetness of Sarah McLachlan, the melodic moodiness of Tori Amos, the melancholy wistfulnes of Fisher and the straight-shooting sassiness of songstress Lucy Kaplansky. Presenting to the world their own sweet, sad, sassy, wistful and sarcastic music, they have managed to weave a mystical spell around their audiences time and again!
