Bio / Background
Chyrsalis was conceived in the spring of 2004 as accompaniment to an off Broadway show running in NYC. The show was a dark tale of how evil runs its course in a small mid-western town in the form of a politician attempting to destroy the world, while hurting the people around him.
The soundtrack makes use instruments ranging from synthesizers and pedal steel to grand piano and mandolin. The listener is brought into the life of the characters through the varying moods and themes from piece to piece.
A bonus track by Earlymay, also adds an unreleased mix of one of their songs from the "Stay Off Your Heels" album.
