Bio / Background
Known for his dynamic, inspiring, and anointed ministry, Minister Charles Hyman is an internationally acclaimed, singer, motivational speaker, songwriter and preacher. His musical journey began at the age of four when his sister dropped a Coca-Cola bottle on his head. He went into the house and began to cry. His crying harmonized with the theme song to Soul Train. This marked the beginning of his career as a singer.
Charles is noted throughout the Carolinas as a distinguished thespian for his lead roles in Dream Girls, Joe Turner Come and Gone, and Fiddler on the Roof. He appeared on the PBS Special Duke Ellington’s Sacred Music and is a Showtime at the Apollo Winner.
In 1997 Minister Hyman accepted his calling into the ministry. He was licensed and ordained under Full Gospel Ministries of New York. Charles served as the Minister of Music for the U.S. Army General Protestant and Gospel Services at Fort Drum, New York, and Yongsan, Korea as well as St.
