Bio / Background
The Charburgers are an Oklahoma based band that got it's name from a club the band was playing, that wouldn't put there name on the sign out on the building. Well one very slow winter night the bassist Ken Madewell came across the lettering for the sign and had the humorus idea to change the existing wording from................
"Live Music Wed. Thru Sat.
Charburgers Frosty Mugs"
to....................
"Live Music Wed. Thru Sat.
The Charburgers
featuring Frosty Mugs"
and the name stuck like glue,
and so was born "The Charburgers band"
The band has honed there craft in honky tonks and road houses, annual outdoor concerts. The Charburgers give more on stage than any band your likley to see, they've become a well oiled groove machine that packs them in time after time. This is their one and only CD, we hope you will enjoy it as much as they have.
