Casey Brandt issues the next installment of his five-part cycle series.
June 5, 2006 -- Brooklyn, NY -- -- Mungler Winslowe Records has announced June 13, 2006 as the official release date for Dawn of the Godless Children: NYC, the Dawn installment of Casey Brandt’s cycle project.
The project is composed of five albums collectively representing a full cycle. The five parts of the cycle are Dawn, Day, Twilight, Night and Sleep; corresponding albums include Dawn of the Godless Children: NYC (2006) as well as The Day I Marry the Sea (in progress) ; Twilight Dump (2005); 8 Wounded Knight (in progress); and Sleep (2004), respectively. The final two installments representing Night and Day are tentatively expected to be released later this year.
Casey Brandt moved to New York from Baltimore in 1998. He played in the folk punk outfit The Beer from 2000 - 2002 and in six years has recorded over a dozen solo albums under the moniker Furious Billy.
