Bio / Background
Recorded live in 2001, "Waves at Bathsheba" offers original solo piano works blending lyricism and Impressionism with polytonality, expressionism and improvisation. Combining classical forms and abstract textures, "Waves at Bathsheba" serves as a sonic exploration for both the traditionalist and progressive listener.
Background information:
This music was inspired by the Impressionist aesthetic of Debussy as well as the rhythmic inflections, polytonality and atonality of Morton Feldman and Alberto Ginastera. Additionally, this album includes improvisational techniques developed through studies of jazz and third stream composition. All pieces were recorded live and without the use of editing or making additional modifications to the original performances.

"One of my goals as a composer and performer is to creatively construct new boundaries in order to expand the realm of musical knowledge and perception for myself and others.
