Careless Sherman is one part rock, one part blues, and one part country. The first part, rock, comes out in songs like Conversation With Myself, The Mirror, and Hey Can I Be Like You. These three songs have very different rock styles. The second part, blues, includes A Job Well Done, That’s Just The Wine Talking, Spent My Life, and What’s The Point In Having Dreams, which carry very different themes and different blues styles. Finally, in The Mayor, Outdone, and Funnel Cake Stand Blues, country music is represented. Careless Sherman can not be described as purely one musical genre over another. Brian combines these genres into his own style and his own story telling compilation.
Transplanted to Nashville, Tennessee from York, Pennsylvania, Brian Pepo always wanted to gather some of his studio and gigging friends to record his songs.
