Bio / Background

CARA-C, a visionary international pop violinist / recording artist, producer and composer, plays her red electric violin that soars with feminine mystique. Starchild...is the new album from CARA-C. “My songs are visual…each song has its own specific color”, says CARA.

Inspired by Jean-Luc Ponty and encouraged by Burt Bachrach, Cara decided to pursue her own passion of writing and performing original pop violin music.

CARA’s soulful melodies melt and satisfy the heart. Her ethereal melodies and contemporary pop sounds appeal to a worldwide audience. She explains, “There is always that rush performing in Carnegie Hall, but for me, nothing compares with playing my own songs to a wild and crazy audience!”

CARA’s career has included performing with some of the music industry’s giants, Burt Bachrach, Kenny Loggins, Barry Manilow, Whitney Houston, and N-Sync among others.

After listening to Cara-C's album Starchild, I have to say that it is delightfully infectious. Cara has a very cool and sexy sound that forefront of her style of international pop. I especially liked her rendition of "I'll Wait for You". It has a very haunting quality to it. I hope to hear more from this artist in the future.
