Captain Dan and his Scurvy Crew have been sailing the coasts of Florida for over 10,000 days! We're REAL pirates, I tell ya. We'll swashbuckle you all with our phat rhymes! We have the real pirate hip hop. All hands on deck! The only rap crew with Buccaneer technique!
Captain Dan & the Scurvy Crew is the hip hop sideproject of Captain Dan Dolan, his first mate Brad "Sea Dawg" Podray, and beats made by Alex "Azis" Zakak. The album covers all of the important aspects of pirate life, from looting to drinking to wenches to rum. Special guests on this album include MC Treasure, Scott Dolan, and Phil Brainerd.

Authentic Pirate Hip-hop - hells yes! This is one the best ideas ever imagined by mere mortals - but then again, is Captain Dan a mortal, or a sea-faring demi-god?!?! I especially like 'The 7 Seas', 'Blackbeard's Treasure' and 'Real Swashbucklers'. Wenches, rum and booty so easily replace hos, '40 and bling - Pirates definitely were the pimps of old!
