Bio / Background

Authentic Bossa Nova sung in English and Portuguese by an artist with an extensive backround in foreign languages and residence abroad as a youth. A solo performance of Spanish guitar and voice; all of the smooth passion of the Bossa Nova's cool attitude comes through in this live atmosphere. Even the classic Cole Porter standard, 'I've Got You Under My Skin' sounds as Brasilian as a well worn samba.

"Most recently a live recording from April 30, 2005 at The Walnut Room in Denver, Colorado called ‘BossaNovaNights’. It is all bossa nova and features two studio cuts at the end from my ‘Paulo’ period, circa 2000. This in response to many requests for a bossa nova recording. It is of good quality and performance and features my 2003 Kenneth Scott Lofquist Spanish guitar.
