Bio / Background
Dennis is a native Californian born onto a farm in Mountain View into a musically talented family of 7 children. Dennis has been a Bay Area musician since the mid '60's. It all started when his father bought him a Kay flat top at the age of 10. He learned by watching and listening to his older brother Darryl and Dad play guitar. In the '70's Dennis expanded his talents to include the Keyboards. He has played in numerous local bands. He decided to take a hiatus after the last band break-up and see where the music was going and/or where it would lead him (Play for You).
Now as a published song writer with new all original material and his own style and interpretation of the Blues he's back on the scene. The Blues is the medium to enable him to express himself best in his music. He's a Vietnam Vet (No Respect, Back In The 'Nam, and Uncle Sam) and a former Green Beret (Airborne!). He has had numerous life threatening instances throughout his life in and out of the military.
