Bio / Background
For the past few years Steve(keyboards), Jason(bass) and Mark(sax) have been regulars in the music scene in Bar Harbor Maine. They met when Blues singer Big Pete Pearson came to Maine and, instead of retiring, started a new edition of his Blues band, Big Pete Pearson and the Blue Sevilles. That was a great gig! (Thanks Pete if you ever read this). Pete eventually got the urge to move back to Arizona and go after a more high profile scene.
Since then, Steve, Jason and Mark have been honing their style in the bars and clubs of Bar Harbor and Bangor. The name C to C came about by accident. Jason and Mark were previously in rock/experimental jazz group in Colorado called Cosmos to Chaos. One night, while playing, the bar owner needed a name for publicity. Cosmos to Chaos didn't seem to fit this group so it just got shortened to C to C. Since the music is piano/keyboard based, the name seemed to fit.
↓ more ↓If you are ever vistiing Bar Harbor see if we are playing at any of the local spots. A favorite is the Sunday afternoon gig on the deck of a local restaruant (Carmen Veranda's). Be sure to say hi and let us know you fould the CD at CD BABY. See you soon and hope you enjoy the music. / Steve, Jason and Mark
