Bio / Background
Busted Peach is an acoustic duo comprised of Jonah Geil-Neufeld (on acoustic guitar and vocals) and Harley Meyer (on conga, doumbek, cajón, and various percussion). Their music has the flow and emotion of most singer-songwriter outfits, accompanied by percussive harmonies from a variety of cultures. Their debut album, Brown Paper Bag, was released on May 18, 2007. The album’s songs are influenced by Scottish and Irish music, Paul Simon’s South African sound, Dispatch’s syncopated rhythms, and Ani DiFranco’s rhythmic lyrics.
Jonah Geil-Neufeld (18) is a multi-faceted musician. He is a drummer, songwriter, singer, guitar player, and trombone player.
