The 80 Year Old Rapper With A Dusty, Big City Blue Collar Style.
Bio / Background
Busta Jack is a 80 year old rapper. He's the oldest rapper ever! That's right he so old he can't even tour but, with a little caffeine and smelling salts we can bring him to you via CD.
Oliver Jackson, (Busta Jack), was born in Mississippi and raised on Chicago's Southside. His street life in his early years resulted in some hard lessons learned and ultimately prison time. However, his past vices are not glorified in his music.
Jack started writing raps in the early 1980's to inspire young people and to speak out on political issues. Having lived through the Depression, this former U.S. Steel worker and retired Board of Ed. custodian knows about struggle and "Tough Times in the Hood."
His charismatic, witty persona has been showcased on Chicago Channel 7 ABC and Channel 9 WGN newscasts; Chicago Tribune, Red Eye and Chicago Defender newspapers; WGCI 107.5, B96, WCKG 105.9, Power 92.
↓ more ↓3 radio stations spins/interviews, featured on Atlanta radio stations, received promotional interest from New York to California, as well as college stations and online album sales. His debut CD is entitled, "Tough Times In The Hood", followed by the 2nd CD, "U Don't Know Jack and an upcoming 3rd CD, "Mr. Chicago".
Finally the parents, the older generation, have a voice in the most popular music among young people today.
So, from Chicago to the world we bring you, BUSTA JACK!
