More Songs about Drinking and Women Who Left was recorded and mixed at Palmyra Studios in Palmer, Texas, under engineer Milo Phillips. Mastering was done at Crystal Clear Studios, Dallas, Texas. This is perhaps Bumpkin's most vintage recording, in part due to the equipment used, which dates back to the days of analog. Bumpkin trusts that fans of classic country will enjoy this, as he believes this to be his most consistent work yet.
