Bio / Background
After 3 years and over 350 live shows, across 9 states and 100 venues, Detroit's Bump is releasing their first studio release November 2004. The Heart of Cadillac Square EP is loaded with musical treats, including special guest keyboardist Chris Codish from the Brothers Groove. This EP was recorded on analog tape at EQS Studios in Rochester, MI, and includes Bump's ode to Detroit "Motorland" and the epic ballad turned trance jam, "Dusk."
In addition to the audio tracks, the Heart of Cadillac Square EP also includes a behind the scenes documentary movie, filmed and edited by Fulvew Productions (www.fulvew.com). This short documentary chronicles the origins behind the band's name, the history of the band, and quick glances at the recording process. Bump's first studio release captures in music and film the passion and talent of these creative performers.
