Bio / Background

Brent Engle lives in the small town of New Albany, Indiana and makes original music under the name Between Two Lions. Joined by longtime friends and collaborators Eric Moore and Todd Corley, Between Two Lions is a gentle, anxious, and multicolored interpretation of pop and roots rock.

The music of Between Two Lions is the product of musicians with open minds to a broad array of sounds and styles. Moore and Corley provide percussion and bass, respectively, forming a backbeat that matches well against Engle's muffled guitars and delicate vocal delivery. While the band openly credits their influences to the likes of Whiskeytown, Television, and The Stone Roses, they create a tone that is both unique and interesting.

Fully immersing themselves in the Louisville original music scene, the band has played to crowds at local venue favorites such as Headliners Music Hall, The Main Street Lounge, and O'Sheas, among others.
