Bio / Background
Steve Brown is an artist with something to say. Visit his world where treasures hide in junk yards, hope is scattered like salt over the roads and electricity pylons walk in herds over the fields as we sleep.
Having recently moved to the Manchester area, Steve is already making an impression on the scene with fantastic live solo performances at In The City, Night & Day, The Roadhouse, and The Green Room to name a few. His music has been played on BBC1, Radio 1, and alongside Paul McCartney, Sting, Bjork and Elvis Costello.
Expect a mixture of great pop songs, beautiful lyrics, catchy melodies, fantastic musicians, African kora, and a few samba rhythms thrown in for good measure. Not your usual singer/songwriter experience!
