Bio / Background
Brian Hobbs is originally from Elizabeth City, North Carolina, but now lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.
He has written for and produced many Swedish artists including: Monica Silverstrand, Mia Lofgren, Lutricia McNeal, Excellence, Jill Johnson, Style and others.
Brian is a keyboard player and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. After moving to New York City Brian worked as an accompanist to cabaret acts and singers and wrote for the musical theater. His show "POE" - a show based on the life and works of poet Edgar Allan Poe, was given a staged reading at the Soho Repertory Theater in 1989.
This is his second instrumental CD.
"I grew up in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and was able to spend a lot of time on the Outer Banks during summers. Even after moving away, I am still drawn to this area. The history and legends of the Outer Banks have always fascinated me and this CD is the culmination of a life-long love affair with this area of North Carolina.
