Bio / Background
Former deepnine frontman Brent Roberts writes what he calls "pop not pop" songs much influenced by his coming of age in the 1980s. Strong melody, lyrics and adventurous arrangements are hallmarks of his work. Counter to the slick veneer of most current electronica Roberts blends the upbeat fun of a yesteryear's club kid into a new pop sound.
His debut solo recording "Strange Parade" is due from Collabitat Records in 2005. "Love's Remains", the first single, was mixed at Recording Arts in Fairfax, VA by Marco Delmar.
